From environmental sustainability to health awareness drives, AVMC has consistently demonstrated that healing goes beyond the hospital wards.

Health Camps & Awareness Drives

Classes in ENT, Cardiology, General Medicine, and other departments frequently organize health camps in nearby villages and towns. These camps provide screening — for hypertension, diabetes, ear/nose/throat disorders etc. — often at no or low cost. AVMC also hosts awareness events like Eye Donation Fortnight, educating both students and the public about the importance of ocular health and donation. 

Environmental & Social Responsibility

Recently, AVMC conducted the Run for Climate Change Marathon under the motto “Every Step Counts – Run Today, Save Tomorrow.” Students, faculty, and staff came together in the spirit of sustainability, showcasing AVMC’s emphasis on ecological awareness and the importance of collective action to protect our environment. 

Academic & Extracurricular Balance

AVMC values holistic education. Apart from academic rigor, students participate in sports events, cultural celebrations (Onam, Teachers Day etc.), and inter-collegiate competitions. These experiences build teamwork, leadership, and a sense of belonging — all essential qualities for future healthcare providers.
