Flexible and conductive CNT films are incorporated into touchscreens, wearable devices, and electronic textiles, supporting the growth of smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Moreover, CNTs serve as catalysts and catalyst supports in chemical and petrochemical processes, enhancing reaction efficiency and selectivity while reducing energy consumption.

Despite their benefits, industrial adoption of CNTs faces challenges. Large-scale production, uniform dispersion in composites, and cost-effective integration remain key hurdles. Additionally, handling and safety protocols are critical due to potential health and environmental concerns associated with nanoparticle exposure. Ongoing research is addressing these issues through improved synthesis techniques, functionalization methods, and safer production processes.

The future of CNTs in industrial applications is promising. With continued innovation, CNTs are expected to drive the next generation of high-performance materials, enabling lightweight vehicles, durable infrastructure, smart electronics, and energy-efficient industrial processes. As industries increasingly prioritize performance, sustainability, and innovation, carbon nanotubes are set to become indispensable in industrial advancements worldwide.
