Watermelon is a common fruit that grows worldwide. It is a flowering and vine fruit plant with spreads up to 3 meters in the field. The fruit matures within 70 to 100 days, depending on the variety. Watermelon cultivation is best suited for summer because it requires a warm climate, well-drained soil, adequate sunlight, and regular watering.

Watermelon cultivation process
Watermelon is growing in dry and medium black soil with well-drained land. The soil pH should be mention between 6 to 7.5, and it doesn't grow in high acidic land or soil.
The land should be prepared with ploughing until the soil becomes soft and delicate. After that, the watermelon seeds were planted directly in the field.
After that, it needs enough regular water and sunlight for growth. When the fruit appears mature enough, check if it's ripe; it makes a thudding sound when thumped, and a thick sound comes, which means it's not yet ripe.
